Stereonation’s Tarseme Singh (Taz) is to be inaugurated into the Coventry Walk of Fame on Friday 29th June for his contribution to the City and celebrate the success he has achieved in the music industry.

The idea for the Coventry Walk of Fame came from Pete Chambers, local music historian and a city ambassador.

Local people who have helped to put Coventry on the map will be immortalized by having their names set into the flooring in Priory Place in the form of a Hollywood-style star.

The walk of fame idea originally came from Pete Chambers, local music historian and a city ambassador.

Taz said, “I want to thanks my parents, wife Manjit, kids Serina, Simran and Danraj brothers and sisters, Mark Moloney, Pavan Punj, Feroz Khan, and my fans who have truly supported me for the last 23 years and stood by my side through thick and thin. God bless you all for nominating me.”

Peter Walters, Chair of the Walk of Fame Group, said, “This is all about celebrating our fantastic city and the many inspirational people who have contributed so much to Coventry’s reputation and profile as a world-class city. I, and the group, believe we should do more of this type of celebration because we really have a strong host of potential nominees.”

Recently, Malkit Singh was awarded a place on Birmingham’s Walk Of Stars on Broad Street.
