Stars too busy to promote ‘Joker’

With just a couple of weeks away from the release of ‘Joker’ (2012), the leading stars including Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha are just too busy with other work to promote this Shirish Kunder movie.

Mid-Day reports that after the resounding success of ‘Rowdy Rathore’ (2012), there is a lot riding on ‘Joker’ with Kumar and Sinha working together again. In terms of promotion, Kumar recently went on a children’s dance reality show to promote another film with not a single mention of ‘Joker’. He is also busy shooting for his other home production with Himesh Reshammiya.

Sinha has appeared on a TV show recently to promote ‘Joker’ but Kumar did not tag along with her. Chitrangada Singh who has done one item track in the film was in Delhi to promote it. Filmmaker, Kunder has been completing the post-production.

It’s quite odd that there is not much hype surrounding ‘Joker’ – it remains to be seen if it will pick up in the coming days.
