STAR’s latest movie acquistions

STAR Plus has confirmed to Biz Asia that it has bagged many more movies than we originally thought.

Beside ‘Rang De Basanti’, ‘Chup Chup Ke’, ‘Taxi No.9211’, ‘Krrish’ and ‘Bluffmaster’, the channel has also bagged the following:

‘Apaharan’ starring Ajay Devgan
‘Ankahee’ starring Aftab Shivisadni, Eesha Deol
‘Shikhar’ starring Ajay Devgan, Bipasha Basu
‘Family’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar
‘Aksar’ starring Emraan Hashmi, Udita Goswami

With Sony Entertainment Television Asia relying heavily on its movie deals with Yashraj Films and ZEE Network on Venus movies, it all remains to be seen what B4U Movies will pull out from its bag.
