STAR’s Kumkum to fast forward 20 years

Kumkum the popular soap from BAG Films is slated for a 20 years leap from 10th April (India) and May (UK).

The main protagonist, Hussain and Juhi Parmar and all the other actors of the show will also be present in the new format only Juhi’ grown up kid�۪s (presently she is pregnant with twins) from Hussain and their relations will be the new entries to the show.

Now the show will move on from the life of Kumkum to the young generation and 5 new characters will be added to the show. Casting for the new characters are still going on and the shooting for the next episodes will be completed by the month end. The character of Jatin ( Anuj saxena) for the time being will be making it�۪s exit from the show.

Commenting on the leap, Rajesh Chadha, Senior Vice President (Operations), BAG Films said, “We at BAG Films are always working towards an interesting script with a mix of interesting characters. The leap in our serial Kumkum has taken place after 3 �_ years which is quite commendable. I am sure with this leap our viewers are going to enjoy every moment of the serial.”
