STAR’s Gurpreet Braich to leave by August-end

STAR TV UK’s senior marketing executive Gurpreet Braich has handed her papers in and will be leaving the network later this month.

She joined STAR UK last year on the back of the departure of fellow executive Rinku Devgun. Since her time at STAR, Gurpreet has worked closely on projects such as the ‘STAR National Mela’ and the ‘Sky Festival’.

Gurpreet is leaving due to family commitments and is also planning going to the USA for a career training placement.

A replacement for Gurpreet has not yet been confirmed. Incidentally STAR has been advertising ‘Sales and Marketing’ vacancy posts for the past few weeks. The channel is hoping to find someone rather soon especially with the launches of new services STAR One and STAR Gold taking place imminently.
