Star Utsav Movies to launch this month in India

Star TV India’s new Hindi movie channel, Star Utsav Movies is set to launch in India later this month.

The free-to-air service will consist of new and old films and will be available on Doordarshan�۪s FTA direct-to-home (DTH) platform Freedish. The channel will complement existing entertainment channel, Star Utsav, which is already strong in the free-to-air market.

Incidentally, Viacom18 launched its new film channel, Rishtey Cineplex on the same platform.

Star Utsav Movies will be available from 21st May 2016.
