Star Utsav goes off-air in UK


As revealed first on , Star Utsav has been taken off-air today.

The channel, which was available on Sky channel 808 has now been replaced by the standard definition of Star Plus, which previously was placed at EPG 839. In its place has come Star Gold SD, which prior to this position was on EPG 868.

Star Utsav closed down due to abysmal ratings in the UK. The channel will not be replaced by any other service, instead Star TV Network will focus on its key channels Star Plus, Star Gold and Star Bharat, which have been performing exceptionally well.

Star Utsav was the home of classic Star TV shows, which launched in July 2016. Star TV will continue to re-run classic Star Plus shows in the afternoon band on Star Plus.
