Star UK to make “historical” announcement in May

Star TV UK will be making an historical announcement in the first week of May, BizAsia can reveal.

According to a tweet by Rajan Singh, Executive Vice President of Star TV International, he said, “1st wk in may star uk to make historical announcement.”

So speculation has already begun about what could be the announcement. It’s coming at a time when rival VIEWASIA is making changes of its own and even Star UK making changes with Star News being rebranded to ABP News? Or it could be the fact that Star’s HD channels are ready for launch?
