With shooting of film and television productions halted in India, most Hindi general entertainment channels are facing their own crisis and will be relying re-runs and repeats of shows during the coronavirus pandemic.
Star Plus is the first broadcaster to confirm temporary tweaks to its schedule, effective from Monday 23rd March. See below:
‘Dadi Amma Maan Jao’ will air 60-minute episodes on Tuesday 24th & Wednesday 25th March
‘Dil Jaise Dhadke Dhadakne Do’ will air 60-minute episodes on Friday 27th March
The broadcaster has also confirmed that ‘Nazar 2’ will re-run from Monday 23rd March at 22:30, while the re-run of ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ will air from Wednesday 25th March at 19:30.
On Star Bharat, ‘Meri Gudiya’ will temporarily be replaced by the repeats of ‘Comedy Classes’ in the 21:00 slot from Monday 23rd March. Original episodes of ‘Mummy Ka Magic’ weekdays at 19:00, ‘Savdhaan India FIR’ at 21:30 and ‘Kartik Purnima’ at 20:30 will continue.
Compilation episodes of ‘Radhakrishn’ and ‘Vaishnavi Se Vaishnodevi Tak’ will be shown in edited forms at 19:30 and 20:00 respectively.
