Star TV UK to air Indian Super League
Star Network has confirmed that it will broadcast the Hero Indian Super League in the UK starting Sunday 12th October 2014.
After bringing cricket (Arise Asian Cup) and Kabaddi (pro-kabbadi league), the Star Network now brings a flavour of Indian football to its UK audiences through the Hero Indian Super League.
Heralding the next step in India�۪s footballing journey, the Hero Indian Super League is primed to deliver a holistic football experience unlike any other witnessed so far with a heady mix of top-quality Indian footballers complimenting a wide array of international players of global repute.
Apart from football, ISL offers a generous dose of Bollywood and sporting celebrity bling-Ranbir Kapoor, John Abraham, Salman Khan, Sachin Tendulkar and Saurav Ganguly to name a few. Some of the marquee players and managers include Alessandro Del Piero, David Trezeguet, Robert Pires, Freddie Ljungberg, David James,Joan Capdevilla, Luis Garcia, Zico,and Peter Reid& Michael Chopra.
The Hero Indian Super League will broadcast on Star Gold starting 19:00 on 12th October, with highlights on Star Plus.
