Star TV India to launch 4k Hindi movie channel
Star TV is upping the ante in India by launching a new Bollywood channel broadcasting in UHD/4K.
The channel, which will launch under the ‘Select’ brand is likely to be known as Star Gold Select HD. Similarly, the network also runs Star Movies Select HD and Star Sports Select HD. It is expected to launch Star Gold Select HD as a higher premium end service.
Star TV India last launched Star Utsav Movies as a free channel targeting viewers in the Rural market.
