Star TV channels to join MultiChoice in Africa
Two premium Star TV Network channels will be launching on the new DStv Indian package this month.
The forms part of a collaboration between Star Network, a wholly-owned subsidiary of 21st Century Fox and South Africa�۪s leading pay TV operator MultiChoice.
With the huge demand for quality Indian channels in this market from both the North and South Indian communities, the Star�۪s Network�۪s premium Hindi and Tamil channels will showcase flagship content rated No.1 in India and the UK & offer a stellar line-up of India�۪s best programming to viewers.
The official launch is on the 15th October on channel number 453 (Hindi channel) & 455 (Tamil channel) with a promotional window of 45 days. From 1st Dec 2015, viewers in South Africa can watch Star Plus & Vijay exclusively on the DStv Indian package and Vijay on the DStv South Indian package.
This launch represents Star Network�۪s biggest launch in South Africa while also strengthening MultiChoice�۪s current offering of premium Indian content for the vast North & South Indian communities.

DStv customers can subscribe to the DStv Indian package at just R319 per month as a stand alone package or R205 per month as add on to an existing package.
