Star TV acquires Hrithik’s ‘Kaabil’ for Rs. 45 core?

Star TV has acquired the television rights for Rakesh Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’, directed by Sanjay Gupta reportedly for Rs. 45 crore.

The film, which is yet to go on the floors, stars Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam. The film’s acquisition is said to be the biggest after ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Dilwale’.

‘Kaabil’ is expected to hit cinemas in January 2017. The first schedule of the film is planned for next month.
