STAR to release home vids of its soaps in UK
Fortune STAR, the distribution and licensing arm of STAR TV, announced today that it is expanding its film and television programme distribution business in the UK by offering high quality home videos of STAR?s hottest and most popular Hindi-language shows.
In order to facilitate the building of a distribution network, Fortune STAR will be issuing a legal notice inviting interested parties to bid for the licensing rights to many of India?s top dramas, comedies, and tele-films. This will be the first time STAR?s top-rated Hindi content legitimately offered in home videos in the UK. Some of the titles available from Fortune STAR?s 10,000 hour Hindi content library include:
