Star Plus UK to telecast first ever Indian Sports Honours 2017


Star Plus is set to telecast the first ever Indian Sports Honours 2017, this month – a special telecast for the UK audience.

The Indian Sports Honours is an endeavour not only to award extra ordinary performances across different sports, but also identify and nurture promising athletes. The initiative of honouring sports persons from various fields was launched by famous Indian cricketer Virat Kohli’s foundation and Sanjiv Goenka’s RPSG and the awards function was held on-ground on Saturday, 11th November evening with personalities from various fields coming together.

Attendance to the glamorous event was marked by Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, PV, Sindhu, Zaheer Khan, Sania Mirza, Siddharth Malhotra, Saina Nehwal, Hardik Pandya, Mitali Raj, and many more sporting & Bollywood celebrities.

Graced by legends, PT Usha & Balbir Singh Senior, the event was hosted by Riteish Deshmukh and Malaika Arora.

The event will be telecast in the UK on Star Plus:
Saturday 16th December: Red carpet at 18:00 – 18:30
Sunday 17th December: Main event at 18:00 – 19:00

  1. Finally some neutral content for the international audience. How long will channels show kitchen politics, they see it not working anymore. If you wish to sustain international audiences you will have to change your approach towards the content. Surely a good move
