Star Plus UK to re-run ‘Masterchef India’ to beef up afternoon slot

Star Plus UK has confirmed that it will be re-running the popular reality show ‘Masterchef India 5’ during its early afternoon slot.

Recently, the No.1 Asian TV channel has transformed its afternoon band with a selection of re-run shows from the Star TV library under ‘Star Plus Dopahar’. Now, starting from Monday 25th March, Star Plus UK will air ‘Masterchef India’ at midday replacing ‘Ikyawann’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ repeat episodes.

Star Plus has become the latest UK channel to experiment with a “cookery” band during its daytime schedule after successful shows on Rishtey. Similarly, the first Asian food channel, Hum Masala has been a huge success in the UK and ZEE Network UK is hoping the same with the launch of Living Foodz next week.
