After facing stiff competition from Sony Entertainment Television with its strong reality TV shows, Star Plus will be hitting back with the launch of three new shows.
BizAsiaLive.com has learnt that the popular broadcaster is set to bid adieu to ‘Nach Baliye 9’ next month, which will then see the launch of ‘Dance+’ in mid-November. The popular dance reality series will take the vacant 20:00 slot.
Adding extra zing to the line-up will be the return of ‘TED Talks India’, which will be back for a second season run. The show hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, is an alternative offering to viewers away from the entertainment provided by other channels at weekends.
Star Plus will also be bringing back ‘Masterchef India’ after a three-year gap. It is expected to air from November-end, to further boost the channel’s weekend schedule.
