STAR Plus to show ‘Remembering Nusrat’

STAR Plus will be telecasting footage from the ‘Remembering Nusrat’ concerts held across the UK, this past weekend.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan teamed up with the CBSO on this ambitious project fusing Nusrat�۪s most loved compositions with the might of the orchestra, and whose last experiment with music from the region was televised in over 100 countries worldwide.

The concerts featured tracks like ‘Dam Mast Qalander’ and ‘Yeh Jo Halka, Halka’, to stirring love songs like ‘Afreen, Afreen’ and popular Bollywood tracks like ‘Zindagi Jhoom Kar’.

The programme’s media partners were STAR UK and BBC Asian Network.

Highlight from the event will be shown on STAR Plus UK on Saturday 31st October at 22:30.
