Star Plus to revive Imagine TV’s ‘Dil Jeetegi Desi Girl’ in weekend slot

Reality series ‘Dil Jeetegi Desi Girl’, produced by BBC Worldwide, is set for a return on television after a nine-year hiatus.

The show originally aired on the now defunct Imagine TV but will be revived by Star Plus as a part of its weekend programming. The original show featured Sambhavna Seth, Kashmera Shah, Roshni Chopra, Monica Bedi, Anmol Singh, Rucha Gujarati, Ishitta Arun, and Aushima Sawhney. Chopra was crowned the show’s ‘Desi Girl’.

The new series is expected to star Shilpa Shinde, Gauri Pradhan, Arshi Khan, Sofia Hayat, Ssara Khan, and Sana Khan.

‘Dil Jeetegi Desi Girl’ will broadcast at the weekends on Star Plus, resulting a further delay to the launch of ‘Nach Baliye’.
