Star Plus to revamp weekends with ‘Dance + 2’

Star Plus is re-jigging its weekend programming with the launch of reality show ‘Dance + 2’.

This would be the first time in months, the channel will break away from its seven-day fiction policy, which was implemented in February.

Starting from Saturday 2nd July, ‘Dance + 2’ will take the weekend 20:00 – 21:00 slot replacing ‘Siya Ke Ram’ and new show ‘Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyar Kya Karein’ – both of which will switch to just 5 days per week. Unlike season one of ‘Dance +’, the show will air in 60-minute blocks on both days rather than 120-minutes on just Sundays.

The 26-episode series will see Remo D’souza return as head judge, along with mentors Dharmesh Yelande, Shakti Mohan and Punit Pathak.

This year’s series will also include UK participants.
