STAR Plus to launch ‘Pratigya’ in primetime slot

STAR Plus will be winding up reality show ‘Perfect Bride’ to make way for new drama, ‘Pratigya’, which launches later this month.

‘Pratigya’ is produced by Walkwater Media and is the story of an ordinary girl�۪s resolve to reclaim her respect.

It stars Pooja Gaur who will play the female lead, while other cast includes Arhaan Behl, Shahab Khan, Monika Singh and Ankit Gera.

STAR India COO Sanjay Gupta said, “With Pratigya, we aim to bring alive an icon whose journey is one that women can relate to, identify with and be inspired by. Breaking stereotypes, we have created a protagonist who is not a victim but a reformer.”

‘Pratigya’ launches on STAR Plus UK on Monday 28th December and will air Monday through to Thursday at 22:00.
