Star Plus to axe ‘Tere Liye’ for ‘Nayya’ in April

Rumours are rife that Star Plus’ primetime show ‘Tere Liye’ will be axed next month to make way for a new drama, ‘Nayya’, produced by Swastik Productions.

Whilst the show is doing averagely in the daily 21:00 slot, it�۪s come as a surprise for its exit. Speculation suggests that things between Ekta Kapoor and Star Plus have once again hit a rocky patch.

TellyBuzz��reports that Ekta however rubbished any clash with the channel by saying “Things are great between us”.

‘Tere Liye’ is expected to end in early April, with ‘Nayya’ launching thereafter, once the ICC Cricket World Cup comes to an end.
