Star Plus UK will be broadcasting a six-part special cookery series called ‘Amul – Taste Of India’, which will take a Sunday night primetime slot.
The show is fronted by popular chefs Sanjeev Kapoor and Ranveer Brar, who celebrate Indian cuisine by showcasing its diversity. The show seems to be named after the popular food brand ‘Amul’ in India and its slogan ‘The Taste Of India’. While the brand will remain prominent in the UK version, the show will be supported by local sponsors. It seems as a first for an Asian TV network to name a show after a popular India brand.
‘Amul – Taste Of India’ launches on Sunday 31st May at 19:00.
