Star Plus to air new reality show ‘Taare Zameen Par’ in weekday slot?

Star Plus’ much awaited new reality show ‘Taare Zameen Par’ is reportedly being lined-up to boost the channel’s weekday line-up.

The channel, which is already standing tall at No.1 in India and UK, is expected to launch on Monday 2nd November. Star Plus’ current weekday schedule consists of just fictions. This would be the channel’s first non-fiction show after a long time.

The show’s unique approach will be that the children’s singing competition will have no elimination round. It will have mentors and not judges, which include Shankar Mahadevan, Tony Kakkar and Jonita Gandhi. It will be hosted by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ actress Aakriti Sharma and comedian-singer, Sugandha Mishra.

Star Plus is yet to announce official details.
