Star Plus has snatched the rights of hit singing reality show ‘The Voice India’ from rival, &TV.

According to reports, Star Plus will become the exclusive broadcaster of ‘The Voice India’ from this year. This will be a major blow to &TV, which has successfully aired the show for the past two years.

In further news to the show, it will also change production hands. Previously, it was helmed by Endemol Shine India and Essel Vision. However, Television Post reports that the new series will be produced by Deepak Dhar’s Banijay Group.

Star Network is yet to make an official statement about the developments.
