Star Plus moves ‘Behenein’ to accommodate ‘Dor’

Star Plus has confirmed toBizAsia.co.uk��that it is shifting popular drama ‘Behenein’ out of primetime to accommodate new drama ‘Maayke Se Bandhi Dor’ from Monday 21st February.

‘Dor’, the new show produced by UTV for Star Plus is said to be a remake of the highly successful Tamil show ‘Kolangal’. Rohit Khurana, Shweta Munshi, Rohini Hattangadi, Bharat Chawda and Anjna Srivastava have been roped in for the new serial.

‘Dor’ is about the responsibility of a girl after marraige. Avni who keeps a condition to take care of her mothers family even after marraige.

‘Behenein’ is being moved to the 18:00 slot also in India to compete directly with ZEE TV’s new property ‘Bhagowali’. ‘Dor’ will launch in the 20:30 slot on the same day.

The changes take place from Monday 21st February on Star Plus UK.
