Star Plus’ ‘Mere Angne Mein’ to end?

Star Plus’ long running series ‘Mere Angne Mein’ is rumoured to be going off-air.

The show, which has redefined Star Plus’ 18:00 slot – in particular in the UK – has been under the scanner since lead actress, Ekta Kaul quit the show. However, BizAsiaLive.com can confirm that neither Star Plus or the actors have officially announced anything.

Talking exclusively to BizAsiaLive.com , lead actor, Karam Rajpal said, “Nope its not true. The production has not said anything like that to us, as of now.”

Star Plus has been re-working on its programme strategy with the introduction of a new afternoon band from next week, plus new shows during primetime. It is expected to have the most original shows on any daypart across Indian TV networks.
