STAR Plus lines up four hit movies for Diwali

STAR Plus will be welcoming in the New Year with a batch of new movie blockbusters in October.

It has lined up the adventure/drama Shikhar starring Ajay Devgan, Shahid Kapoor and Bipasha Basu for Saturday 7th October at 21:00.

Also as part of the festive specials, the channel will be screening ‘Shaadi No.1’ on Saturday 14th October.

Getting its network premiere will be Emraan Hasmi and Celina Jaitley’s romantic comedy ‘Jawani Diwani’, which will be aired on Saturday 21st October.

To end the month, Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar will star in the channel’s other huge premiere ‘Family’. It will be screened on Saturday 28th October.

Other movies also being shown on STAR Plus in October are Hulchul (Akshaye Khanna) and as part of an Amitabh Bachchan movie festival, the following: ‘Viruddh’, ‘Khakee’, ‘Kaante’, ‘Black’ and ‘Kaalia’.
