Star Plus confirms October launch for ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi’
Star Plus has officially announced that its upcoming drama ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi’ will premiere on 7th October 2025, occupying the 19:00 in India (19:30 UK) slot on weekdays. The show will replace ‘Ishaani’, which is set to move to an earlier time slot.
Starring Divya Patil and Manjeet Makkar in lead roles, the series introduces viewers to the story of Khushi, a responsible young woman who enters into a contract marriage with Krishna, a free-spirited man known for his unpredictable lifestyle. From playing a police officer to posing as a thief, Krishna’s ever-changing persona stands in stark contrast to Khushi’s grounded nature.
Driven by financial desperation to support her mother’s medical treatment, Khushi agrees to the unconventional arrangement. What begins as a transactional relationship soon evolves into a journey of emotional complexity, personal growth, and unexpected romance.
