Star TV UK has confirmed to BizAsia.co.uk that it will be axing ‘Navya’ next month, to make way for ‘Sajda Tere Pyar Mein’.
There has been a number of stories flying around reporting the uncertainty of particular shows on the channel. Initially, ‘Maryaada – Lekin Kab Tak’ was in line to face the axe but a sudden change of heart meant ‘Maryaada’ will remain on-air for the foreseeable future.
This has now resulted in ‘Navya’ being removed from the schedule, with ‘Sajda Tere Pyar Mein’ taking the 22:00 slot instead from Tuesday 14th February.
‘Sajda Tere Pyar Mein’ is the story of Aaliya, a young college-going girl, who in an age of aimlessness finds purpose and reason in life through love.
‘Sajda Tere Pyar Mein’ is produced by Ravi Ojha Productions, the makers of the hit show ‘Sasural Gendha Phool’ already running on the channel.
The channel has also confirmed that ‘Sasural Gendha Phool’ will remain in its 19:30 slot. There had been talk earlier that the show was moving to an afternoon slot.
