Star One’s ‘Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani’ winds up

Star One, which is getting ready for its huge rebrand in January is now dropping the axe on one of its most loved shows ‘Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani’.

Its been confirmed that the male protagonist Abhay Raichand played by Vivian Dsena will be killed off. The huge change is a part of a big twist as the show begins winding up before it ends next month.

According to TellyChakkar, Abhay is trying his best to save Pia (Sukirti Kandpal) from Maithali (Madhura Naik) but will face further obstacles as the vampires and the werewolves get into a huge rumble.

The source further adds that Jeh, who was sent away by his mother will come back and learn about her death. Jeh will get agitated and in an attempt to take revenge will kill Abhay.

It is not sure if the twist has been introduced to bring in more viewers to the show and whether or not Abhay will return later before the show ends.

Recently shows like ‘Rang Badalti Odhani’, Yeh Ishq Haaye’ and ‘Dhoond Legi Manzil Humein’ have ended, with the likes of ‘Geet Hui Sabse Parayi’ and ‘Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani’ still undecided on whether they will be axed or changed to fit in with Star Desh’s policy.

According to sources, Star Desh’s schedule will include three 20-minute shows per hour running Monday to Sunday rather than the current model of 30-minute shows in a Monday to Friday band.
