STAR One begins testing off Sky EPG

STAR TV’s upcoming channel STAR One, which is due to launch on Monday 20th November has begun EPG testing today.

STAR One will be the first channel of its kind in the UK to specialise in Asian youth orientated shows and short series’. The channel has been performing well in India with hit programmes like ‘Nach Baliye’ and ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’.

STAR One will launch alongside STAR Gold, India’s popular movies channel, on Sky Digital. STAR Gold begun testing its EPG data yesterday (click link below).

Visual and audio testing of both channels will commence within the next few days.

In the meantime tests of STAR One can be viewed in the following way:

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> System Setup (4)
-> Add Channels (4)
-> Enter the frequency: 11.265 (H), FEC 2/3, Symbol Rate 27500
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight “52108” service and press Yellow button.
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> “52108” should be listed and available
