Star Network’s ‘Khichdi’ back with a third season

The Star Network has been bringing back its popular shows in seasons, the most successful being their original Star Plus comedy ‘Khichdi’ (2002). The comedy has been much loved, having a second season on their Star One Network (2005), and a Bollywood film, ‘Khichdi: The Movie’ (2010) that followed. Now, the show is back with a third season that will air on Star Plus.

Ahmedabad Mirror reports that ‘Khichdi’ will star its original cast, including producer Jamnadas Kapadia. A source revealed, “Shooting for the Star Plus show started on Friday at a suburban studio. Kapadia has been working on the script for a while and had shot for a pilot a few months ago.” Kapadia also confirmed the show’s comeback, saying, “We started the Khichdi journey on Star Plus and we are excited to be back working with the channel. Stay tuned for more.”

‘Khichdi’ also starred Anang Desai, Rajeev Mehta, Supriya Pathak, and Vandana Pathak.
