Star India & Viacom18 merger expected for completion by October

Disney’s Star India and Reliance’s Viacom18’s merger is expected to be complete by October.

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has adjourned its decision on the merger until 12th August. It was expected initially on 1st August 2024.

Meanwhile, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) is expected to issue its order in October 2024.
