Star India set to launch two English movie channels

Star TV India is planning to launch two new English movie channels in April.

According to Exchange4Media, one among the new English movie channels will be named Star Movies Select HD, the name of the other remains unknown. Apparently, the former will offer viewers a unique proposition of 365 new movies, one for each day of the year at the 21:00 slot.

Star TV India already has Star Movies, Star Movies HD and Star Movies Action as part of its movie genre channels.

An official announcement is expected from the broadcaster.
