After it announced the exclusive UK television coverage of this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket tournament, Star TV UK has confirmed to BizAsiaLive.com that it has postponed the premiere of movie ‘Why Cheat India’.

The film was scheduled to premiere on Star Gold UK this Saturday, 23rd March 2019 at 21:00 but this has been changed due to schedule tweaks to accommodate the much awaited IPL. The broadcaster is yet to re-schedule the film.

This is the first time that Star TV UK will be broadcasting the IPL, as well as streaming it on its digital platform, Hotstar. Prior to this, mainstream channels, Sky Sports, ITV and Eurosport have been broadcasters of the lucrative cricketing property.
