Star Gold to premiere ‘Matru Ki Bijlee’ in May

Star Gold will be premiering the comedy ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ in May, BizAsia can exclusively confirm.

The film is about Harry who is an industrialist who loves his daughter Bijlee, and the bond they share with Harry’s man friday, Matru. Bijlee’s plan to wed the son of a politician, however, brings twists and turns in the lives of Matru, Bijlee and Mandola.

It stars Imran Khan, Anushka Sharma and Pankaj Kapoor.

‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ will air on Sunday 26th May at 20:00 on Star Gold (tentative date).
