Star Gold India to premiere ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ in 4K

Star Gold India is pulling out all the stops to make the premiere of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ a worthwhile experience.

The broadcaster has confirmed that it will launch a Star Gold 4K service where it will premiere the film on this platform, along with with HD & SD on Sunday 11th October 2015 at 12:30. The initiative makes ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ the first Hindi movie to be premiered in 4k.

The Star Gold 4K service, especially delivered for the film premiere, will be available for two days (10th & 11th October) on Tata Sky, Videocon and Airtel. With the service, the channel aims to provide its viewers a superlative viewing experience of their favourite film. As a build up to the 4K premiere, the channel will showcase specially created promos and short format content videos in the same service. The content will be delivered in the same way as Video On Demand content is housed by the respective DTH operators.

‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ took the box office by storm and broke all records.

In the UK, Star Plus will premiere the movie in HD and SD on Sunday 11th October at 13:30.
