STAR gets ready for Screen Awards splash

The film awards season is back and the first set of Asian film awards are all ready to go live!

Dubbed by STAR as the only awards to be judged by a jury of eminent personalities from the film industry itself. These Bollywood awards will feature the leading stars of the Indian film industry. The show will be saluting the city of dreams and has been themed ‘Amchi Mumbai’.

Last year saw Shah Rukh Khan bag the award for Best actor for Veer Zaara and Rani Mukherjee take home the trophy for Hum Tum. Abhishek Bachchan received his first ever award for his role in Yuva.

This year?s awards are expected to be even bigger with some surprise performances in store from your favourite Bollywood celebrities.

Preceding the main event, STAR Plus will be showcasing special programmes to hype up this year’s huge ceremony.
