Star Bharat launches; Life OK replaced

Star TV Network has launched new entertainment channel, Star Bharat, replacing Life OK.

The philosophy of Star Bharat will be to showcase inspirational stories about journeys of strong and fearless characters that rise for the collective.

Celebrating the many facets of Fearless India, Star Bharat unveils a content line up with strong, rooted icons and differentiated programming that is in line with the brand’s philosophy of “Bhula ke darr, kuch alag kar”. It kicked off at 18:00 with a two-hour special of innovative reality show ‘Om Shanti Om’ based on budding devotional singers.

Star Bharat replaced Life OK, which was shutdown to make way for the new service. The only show to be carried forward to Star Bharat from Life OK is ‘Savdhaan India’, which will retain the 22:00 slot.

Star Bharat is available on Sky and Virgin Media.
