SS Rajamouli to sign Alia Bhatt for ‘RRR’?

SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ is searching for a female lead, and the latest rumours suggest that it could be Alia Bhatt.

According to a source, “Rajamouli’s team has approached Alia Bhatt through her mentor and godfather Karan Johar.”, Pinkvilla reported. Johar is co-producing the film.

Another source told Mirror that Bhatt is interested in the offer, “Alia will be tied up with promotions of her upcoming films and the shoot of ‘Brahmastra’ in the next few months. At the moment, she is trying to figure out dates for the Rajamouli film after wrapping up ongoing commitments”. If confirmed, this film will mark Bhatt’s Tollywood debut.

Previous rumours have linked several actresses to the film, including Parineeti Chopra, Kiara Advani, and Keerthy Suresh. Currently, Jr. NTR and Ram Charan are the only official cast members for the project.
