SRK wishes Yash Chopra could have seen release of ‘JTHJ’

Yash Chopra & SRK
The late Yash Chopra in conversation with Shah Rukh Khan

The sad demise of veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra would have been felt by all Bollywood fans, more so because of his lastdirectorial ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ being just a few weeks away from release. Shah Rukh Khan, who plays an army officer in the movie, stated in a recent interview that he wishes Chopra would have been able to see the film’s release.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Khan said, “…It’s a special film for me but I can’t choose between the films that I’ve done. Of course sadly Yashji is no more so you do feel a bit poignant about it. I just wish he was here to see the release of the film and beyond”.

When asked to explaina little of the plot of the movie due to it being kept safely guarded, Khan was quick to defend, “When I see a trailer of my film, my first rule to anyone is that the promos should reveal what the film is all about. If you say you aren’t getting a clear idea of what the film is all about, then maybe you are not looking deep enough. It’s all there in the promos”.

‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ will be getting a grand premiere on 12th November before its official release a day later.
