SRK turns writer for upcoming Netflix series?

Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment is producing a handful of web series for Netflix. However, rumour has it that Khan has now also joined a team a writers for a forthcoming series with a political backdrop.

Khan recently said in an interview with Rajeev Masand that he’s enjoying producing and has been listening to a few scripts. A source explained to Mid-Day, “Khan, who is enjoying a self-imposed sabbatical since Zero (2018), has joined the writing team in scripting the show. He sits with the team, which includes renowned political columnists, to discuss the material every day. Given his vast knowledge of world politics, he comes up with scenes, referencing them from real-life events and the workings of the political dynasties around the globe. Whether he is taking credit for the concept or writing is yet to be known. However, the superstar has taken to writing keenly”.

Khan’s first web series ‘Bard of Blood’ has has a positive response to its trailer which was unveiled recently.
