SRK turns down antagonist role in ‘Race 3’?

Abbas-Mustan are believed to be working on ��Race 3�۪ after the success of the first two instalments. Reports today suggest that Shah Rukh Khan was approached for a negative role in the forthcoming movie but has turned it down.

It is believed that Khan refused to take up the part saying he is not sure that people would take to him doing a villainous role. India Today quote a source saying, ���Shah Rukh has worked with the director duo during his early years in Baazigar, in which he had played a grey character but he has passed up on the offer this time. SRK politely told the directors that he didn’t feel the audience would accept him in such a dark role for now�۝.

1993�۪s ��Baazigar�۪ saw Khan in such a role and he played similar roles in his upcoming films following that. However, it seems he may want to now stick with the action and romantic genres.
