Shah Rukh Khan, whose next film ‘Happy New Year’ boasts a multi starcast, will soon be leaving behind the comforts of the film studios and opting for the streets.
The actor is apparently going to be shooting in Dharavi for ‘Happy New Year’ for a special action scene. A source from the film’s team told Deccan Chronicle, “We۪re in the process of getting special permission to shoot this portion of the film. And because it will be shot in the slums, the set up requires loads of security arrangement. We don۪t want to take any chances as Shah Rukh will be shooting on the streets with the aam junta of Dharavi”.
It appears that the shoot will see police and upped security for Khan and the unit. It will commence once director Farah Khan returns back to Mumbai.
The film is schedule for a Diwali release and also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah.
