SRK to help with film journalist’s treatment after accident

If reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh Khan will be helping film journalist Ali Peter John with the treatment of his toe, after he met with an accident recently.

As DNA India reports, John, who has written Khan’s biography,  had been hit by a water tanker whilst crossing road in the streets of Mumbai, resulting in his toe to be crushed. Talking to the media was the journalist’s wife, who explained, “He was operated on Saturday night but there is no blood circulation in his left toe. Doctors said his toes had become septic, so they are going to carry out an amputation surgery on Friday.”

Talking about Khan’s involvement, she went on to add, “The cost of the operation would be around Rs 5 lakh, for which Shahrukh Khan’s team has approached John offering assistance.”

John has also been responsible for penning the lives of Amitabh Bachchan and Rajesh Khanna, and has upheld a good reputation with the Indian Film Industry.
