Back in 2010 Ayan Mukerji worked as an assistant on Karan Johar’s ‘My Name Is Khan’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Since then, Mukerji became a huge Khan fan. The filmmaker is also currently in the process of directing Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the upcoming ‘Brahmastra.’ The film’s shoot has been going on for quite some time now and as per reports, Khan is all set to team up with Mukerji for a cameo in the movie.
Reportedly, Khan has already set aside dates for the shooting and will be joining Kapoor and Bhatt at the same time, reports Pinkvilla. A source told the media that Khan will play an important part in Kapoor’s narrative and his cameo will leave an impact. The report also stated that Khan will shoot his portion before the end of this year.
The source quoted to the daily, “It’s a guest appearance but Shah Rukh plays a pivotal role in taking Ranbir’s journey forward. He has already allotted his dates for his portions and will shoot before the year-end.” This isn’t the first time Shah Rukh and Ranbir will share screen space. In Karan Johar’s film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Shah Rukh played Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s ex-husband and his role was loved.”
The production has been shot in various locations including Bulgaria, London and Varanasi. As per a report, Kapoor and Bhatt will be heading to Manali to shoot an important portion of the film.
The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy.
