SRK to commence shoot for ‘Don 3’ by year-end in Malaysia?

There has been much talk about Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Don 3’, with rumours that he has quit the Rakesh Sharma biopic ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’ to accommodate dates for the action-thriller.

Mid-Day reports that director Farhan Akhtar and producer, Ritesh Sidhwani have quietly begun working on ‘Don 3’, which is likely to be rolled out by the end of the year in Malaysia.

A source told the publication, “Farhan and Shah Rukh had been looking for a suitable story to take the franchise forward, and now, they have zeroed in on one. The developing of the script will take a few months. In the meantime, Farhan will shoot for his sports drama, Toofan, while SRK will be busy with the Indian Premier League.

The publication asked Akhtar if he will be working on ‘Don 3’, to which he responded with, “I am working on Toofan this year.”
