SRK set to make announcement about collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani?

2020 will potentially mark the return of Shah Rukh Khan. The superstar, who has been away from the silver screen, was originally ready to make a comeback by doing a film with south filmmaker Atlee. However, as per reports, the star is keen to work on celebrated filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s film first – in which he is also co-producing.

Whilst Khan is apparently excited to begin the shoot, he was also considering to work with powerful director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, reports Bollywood Life.

As per reports, Khan is expected to make an official announcement about his collaboration with Hirani soon. A source said, “The talks about his project began earlier this year. Shah Rukh Khan has okayed filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s next. This seems to be a huge project and sets will be mounted by April or May 2020. Following this, the makers are looking for a 2021 release for the film. As of now, the cast and subject of the film is kept under wraps.”

Khan was last seen in ‘Zero’ (2018) with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma but the film suffered at the box office. After the film, he took some time off to choose the right kind of scripts. On being asked about his break from movies, Khan had earlier said, “This time, I didn’t feel like doing it. I thought, this time, I will take out time to watch films and listen to scripts and read books. My kids are also finishing their college life. Suhana is still in college, Aryan will hopefully pass his college in a year. I want to spend more time with my family. I only act when it comes from my heart, but this time I don’t feel like doing it. A lot of people are telling me stories, I’ve heard 15-20 stories, I liked 2-3 of them. But I haven’t decided yet which film to do. Because the moment I take a decision, I will have to start working on films. I will completely be engrossed in it.”
