With Star Plus doing well in the latest round of ratings, it is pulling out all the stops to ensure it consolidates position with a strong line-up of new shows.
BizAsiaLive.com understands that ‘TED Talks India’ will be returning for a second season, which will see Shah Rukh Khan reprise his role as host. There were talks earlier that Khan may not be able to commit due to a clash with his next film ‘Zero’
DNA India reports that the show is likely to be shot in November and aired sometime in December. The source told the publication, “Last time, the episodes were shot in August and aired in December, but this time, there won’t be such a long gap between the shoot and the telecast. It will be on the same channel that aired the first season.”
‘TED Talks India’ may not have garnered huge ratings but it did receive critical acclaim for standing out from the crowd with its unique approach.
